All service packs can be used for updating the corresponding release version only - i.e. a service pack 8.14-03 requires a base installation of VISUM 8.1. The updates are cumulative, meaning that the latest service pack includes all earlier ones.
The hardlock ID has to correspond to the prefix of your hardlock key number.
Customers with a maintenance contract will automatically receive the program updates. Service packs will not be mailed automatically.(Customers without a maintenance contract are kindly requested to send their enquiries to sales.de@ptvgroup.com.)
For the installation of the service pack, the downloaded zip file has to be unpacked with a suitable program. The corresponding data files must be copied into the ‘Exe’ subdirectory of your VISUM installation folder. (Previously stored files with the same name should be renamed or moved to another folder.)
